Heart of the Home-Linkiness

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for all of your encouraging words on yesterday's post. You all are such wonderful friends, and as I have said before, I appreciate you all more than you know!!

Today for Heart of the Home I am linking to the post at The Nesting Place.
It's awesome and the title is "Ten Ways to Avoid Having a Home You'll Love".

This is a great piece, and addresses a couple of things we've covered here on Tuesdays. Hope you'll go check her out! Her blog is chockful of inspiration and ideas for beautifying and simplifying our homes.

****Sweet friends, I am praying about and evaluating some things with regards to my blog, it's direction, my time constraints and goals. For the time being I am going to cease to have regular Tuesday Heart of the Home posts.

As this is near and dear to my heart, I will still have posts that center around this theme, they just will not be on a specified day.

I am having so much fun, and feel that I need to continue to have some freedom and creativity in my blog, rather than too many set things.

Hope you'll continue to hang with me as I seek to honor God in all areas of my life, including this amazing invention called a blog!!

WE DID IT ! WEDNESDAY is tomorrow!! Please comment on this post and I'll post your link as a participant!!

I simply haven't had time to address Mr. Linky issues!! Edie is going to help me...just need some time!!

Bloggy hugs, smiles, and love to you all!!
Becky

  2. Becky--that is the beauty of blogging...there is no obligation..you do the best you can when you can, and when you WANT too....it is hard to keep those old priorities in blogland...it is a up and down thing with me...
it will work...the Lord will show you.

  3. Great post Becky! I agree we need to keep our blogs to what works best for us. As long as you don't take a break because that wouldn't work for ME. I know it's your blog, but I really enjoy coming here daily!!! Sometimes more than once, you know, it's that whole stalking thing I have going on!! Enjoy your day!!

  5. I checked out the link and can really identify with #4, although I've been encouraged by blogs and Design on a Dime type shows. I had never been to her site before, it looks so cool!

I'll patiently hang with you as you do what you need to do. Homeschooling is a big responsibility in itself, and right now I'm having to scrap a new History curriculum since it's just not working--and trying to figure out what direction to go. It's always a pleasure to stop by your blog♥

  6. I think we all need to keep an eye on the amount of time spent blogging. It can quickly get out of hand and overwhelming.

Let me know whenever you need some help. :)

  9. Becky- i couldn't agree with you more! Even though i think blogging IS the one thing that's really keeping me sane at this moment- i think i am feeling a little guilty lately abt "waiting" in prayer which i haven't seemed to have time for ..amongst many other things!

It calls for divine wisdom and priorities evaluation.

I am with you on this in prayer, girl!!

    hugs,
    ~Silver

  10. I am not sure, did I miss some post? Are you feeling the pressure of daily life and blogging? Hubby was so glad to see me blog, and get off the couch. Now he's saying I living on here. But I am so behind, with Grands here 10 hours a day. I want to visit everyone, and I decided I just got to have fun, with it. Do you remember I had thought of deleting my blog? Well I think, we all should visit when we can, and if anyone ask a question get back with them or do like Susan is doing,in case you missed a message. The Pioneer Woman had a day where she answered questions in a post for each person. I was honored to be one of those. I enjoy all blogs. But I have been wondering how do people work, and do daily life and blog. Since I had the Grands for a month or so, I too tired to blog. They will be back in morn. I home schooled my girls from 7th grade on. I finally went with a place out of Texas that kept a transcript and all the college would accept it. They had teacher manual and answers. The work booka were all made. It was great. For at first I had to plan lessons every night for two different grades. We did a lot of life learning events too. Cheer Up, and just blog when you can, and visit when you can we will all still be waiting dangling our leg from your tree. lol I got to just get my awards post done and can't get it done! Then I got to do my give away, and post one I won. I feeling the heat, and its winter and my toes are cold. The wind must be colder today in this tree! lol Have a great night, I talked email to several friends and one in Florida, told her wish I was there! I have been wanting to run away! I was invited to Destin, they are taking Grands, Invited to go to Nashville Thurday, going to keep two grands. I declined, lol I have four grands everyday. I looking for your tree! That is where I want to be! See you there!
