Early this morning I read in Romans 14:7 that "None of us liveth to himself." What a loving reminder from God of our purpose here. We are here to show God's love to everyone we come in contact with, and share the gospel of truth.
There is a family, one I do not know personally, that desperately needs the prayers, love and support of God's people.
You have probably seen this button in my sidebar. I encourage you to click it, and visit this blog.
A sweet, precious infant girl is struggling for her life. The pictures are difficult to view, and very compelling. In the Mom's most recent post, she makes a plea for prayer for herself; very compelling as well.
I hope you will join me and the others who are committed to lifting this family up in prayer. In my wildest imaginings, I can't even begin to fathom how difficult something like this would be. It makes me feel weak to even think about it.
Today is a fresh, new beautiful Lord's day. May our prayers be a fragrant aroma to our heavenly Father, and may we always be moving forward in giving feet to out faith. After all, to truly know... is to do.
With thanksgiving and praise to our Wonderful Lord and Savior,
Becky

Hi Becky! Nice to meet you. Dropping by for just a second. I've had a very busy weekend and trying to get everything done before another week of work starts. I seem to get nothing done Mon-Fri but work at work. I'm doing a major overhaul on all the junk in our house and John is putting up shelving for me. As soon as I am done I will post some photos. But I'm looking forward to getting back to read all your post. (I'm following you.)
ReplyDeleteYour page looks like mine. Same background and flowers in your header. heehee
I will be praying for this family.

I went and read the whole blog and will keep her and the family in prayer.

ReplyDeleteJust in this past week I have been checking this family's blog. My heart aches along with the mother's. They are in my prayers also. Thank you for letting us know about them. I would not have known if I did not see the link on yours.
ReplyDeleteBecky, I just prayed, but I will be sure and check out the blog. Thanks for the heads up.

What a beautiful blog you have; I am glad to meet you.
ReplyDeleteI visited the site about the baby and her struggle for life. I cannot imagine what her parents are enduring, but thank God they have faith and love, and the prayers of so many people, including those of us they will never meet.
Thank you --- Cass
