A Time For Tea!

Well, I woke up this morning with a sore lump in the back of my throat, so, since I usually only drink tea when I'm not feeling good, today is the perfect time for tea!!

This is the only actual "teacup" I own. A friend gave it to me a few years ago. I think she thought I should drink more tea!! We bought the tea ball thingy at a tea shoppe in Texas at Thanksgiving, along with some wonderful tea!

I can't remember the names of these, but this one is very cinnamony and delightful...the one I'm drinking now.

If tea could party, this is what it would look like...very festive and fruity in flavor

It froze overnight, so I had to cover up my babies outside!
But I'm inside all toasty and warm...thanks to my handy dandy gas fireplace.
Never thought I'd enjoy having one that didn't burn wood, but since it warms me up, gives nice ambiance, and doesn't have to be cleaned, IT WORKS FOR ME!!
Hope you're staying warm and cozy!
Happy Day Wishes For You,

  1. Although I have tea cups I have to admit most often I drink it from a large mug...I just want MORE...and not to have to refill as often... is so good for you, I have heard it said that it has a anti-viral effect on our bodies IF we would drink it all the time..
I hope you are not getting th *bug*...we are going on TWO is better to be sure..but sure can wear you out..
Oh your fireplace is so lovely and inviting..and the no mess thing...I would agree.

  2. You should try INDIAN CHAI from VOYAGE by TWININGS it's my fave right now, very flavored, no need to add sugar, milk or lemon, it's just perfect!

  4. So sorry you are not feeling well, keep the cup of tea and stay warm. I use peppermintand honey in my tea, when my throat is sore.

  5. I certainly hope you are feeling better! a nice cup of tea always helps. Have you ever tried rooibos red african tea. It is an excellent healing tea as well and tastes wonderful!

  7. There are few things nicer than sitting in front of a lovely warm fire with a cup of tea. Hope you have a really great day!

  8. What a sweet blog! Enjoyed my visit! Hugs, Maryjane

  9. Looks nice and warm! Hope you enjoyed your cup of tea. I enjoy tea also but hate to admit don't drink it very often. I'm too lazy to boil the water and make a pot! Isn't that crazy???? Enjoy your day!

  10. Becky, I love your teacup. It's very pretty --- and I like the "blue" in your tea as well. Now I'm thinking --- how can we get Becky to drink tea more often than just when she's sick??? ;)

I hope you are feeling much better soon! Curl up by that cozy fire, read a good book, and heal quickly!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share some JOY!
You're a blessing to me!
