Kelli graciously hosts this event, and she sells her beautiful paper crafts!! Please visit her here, and take a peek into her Etsy shop, too!! Everything she makes is lovely!

This is the card I am sharing this week. And of course...I had to make a birdy card!! :)

For this project I used a premade notecard , green scrapbook paper, and pale green flecked card stock, a birdy stamp and gold stamp pad. I used a different ribbon than pictured. It is 1/4" organza light brownish-gold.

First I stamped the birdy in the lower corner of my cardstock

Then I gently tore all four edges around it

I took the gold stamp pad and dabbed it around the edges to highlight the torn edge

Next I cut a rectangle out of the green paper, and with special scissors, scalloped the edge, and dabbed gold randomly over the paper and around the edge

Apply the birdy piece to the green piece, and then to the card.

For added detail and to show some of the pink inside of the card, I scalloped just the top and bottom corners.

Just add ribbon and it's ready to give!!

Have a "chirpy" day!! ;)
