Goals!

Sunny Sunday Greetings!!

"My goal is God Himself,
not joy nor peace,
Nor even blessing,
but Himself,
my God."

~~Oswald Chambers~~
My Utmost For His Highest

Am I measuring my life by this standard,
or by anything less?

~~~~~
Mr. Chambers always has a way of
hitting the nail right on the head.
Praying right now that this goal will
always be mine...
and yours.
Have a blessed day, my friends!
HUGS and JOY to you,
Becky
  1. I love Oswald Chambers! Saw the kick off concert for his books a few years back with Twila Paris, Sandi Patti, Avalon, and others...wonderful!
    The quote you used today hits me in the heart.
    Bless you.
  2. Beautiful goal, Becky. I hope you are doing well and that you are adjusting to the Tennessee adventure.
    I am glad you picked a winner and I am sure she is most excited. Show us the bracelet when you have it done, OK? The oil spill is a nightmare, we are praying for an end to it and relief for the south and no hurricanes this year!
    Hugs to you and lots of love,
    Bonnie
  10. Hi Becky, you should link to Spiritual Sunday. This is a beautiful post. I love the quote.
    I just wanted to tell you I finally have the oil button on my side bar. If you could have heard Beverly trying to tell me how to do this, you would really get a good laugh. Fist She said, "I really don't have time, later." I said, "Awwwww OK." Then she said, "Alright, go to Typepad and I'll help you learn how to do this." I said, "Hooray, thank you, thank you, thank you." Without going into any detail twenty minutes later, she did it for me in two minutes!!! I failed and she lost twenty minutes trying to tell me how to do it. Sigh. The final problem was I had to save a link and instead of hitting save I hit paste. Instead of taking time to redo, She did it for me. I remember most of the process so I am going to try it myself. Failure is not a word in my dictionary. Smile.
    Now, I am getting my long list of things done for grandkids week.
    Love you to pieces, Jeanne
