Recycled!

This box is full of the prettiest recyclable things, isn't it? These are the bows that I have reused for the past few years. Doesn't it just make you feel good when you can do your little part to help preserve God's creation? We don't consider ourselves to be environmentalists, but we definitely try to do our part when it comes to decreasing our carbon footprints. I also have oodles of regular fabric ribbon that I am using more and more on gifts as well. What are some of your ideas?

To Do Today:

**Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
**School with my daughter
**Pay bills (thankful I have the money to do so!!)
**Do 2-3 loads of laundry
**Buy more little white lights!!! (I love how they twinkle)
**Get the Christmas boxes down from the attic (YES!!!)
**Cook an amazing dinner for my hubby because he had to suffer through stroganoff last night. (Not his favorite by a long shot, but it was the ingredients I had on hand after the trip)

**HAVE YOU BEEN SPRINKLING YOUR JOY AROUND??**

GO ON...GO AHEAD...DON'T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO SPRINKLE YOU...SPRINKLE FIRST AND YOU CAN'T HELP BUT GET SPRINKLED BACK!!! IT'S TRUE!!

Cyber hugs for you all, and thank you to Walking on Sunshine and Deanie for becoming followers of my blog!!! That just made my day!!
Blessings, Becky

  1. Okay, I cannot seem to throw out grocery store plastic bags and I, GASP, wash out the ziplock ones and use them over and over again! Well, except for the ones that held meat or oily things, but I'm sure you get my drift. Enjoy your day!

  2. Thank you for becoming a follower on my blog too! I was surprised to see I had another one when I logged on. We save the plastic bags from the store. Use them to line our waste baskets. Also use fabric bags at the grocery store. Plus any plastic bags we don't use go to the recycle containers at the store. Also I make fabric gift bags for gifts. The recipient gets to keep it and reuse it on a future gift. The fabric bags in our family have been passed around several times.
