Sporting Our Colors!

Don't we look grand?
{smile}

You have to love a nation that celebrates it's independence every
July 4th, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file
by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with
family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato
salad gets "iffy", and the flies die from happiness.
You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism!
~~Erma Bombeck~~

Have a wonderful Independence Day celebration!!!

And don't forget to pray for those in harm's way on foreign soil.
They are "the brave" that make it so we can be "the free"!!

Joyfully,
Becky

And I LOVE Erma Bombeck! Miss her so much. She helped me keep a sense of humor as I raised my babies- and my dh stood in line to get me a signed copy of one her books when we lived in Nashville- and surprised me at Christmas.:)
Her books make me laugh out loud!

Just found out my dear (and only!:) sister and little niece are driving up from IL today to spend some time this week! TREAT!:)

Amen to prayers for all our wonderful and brave troops and their families!

  9. Hooray, your package arrived. Bill brought it in TWO, sigh, days ago and didn't tell me about it. With all the company I just found it. He is a bad boy but I love him anyway. I love, love, love, the bracelet and it fits perfectly. Your package looks like the ocean with all the blue shiny grass all around. I love the cup, the spray is divine and the tag is darling. I am thinking the cute scoop like thingie is to lift cups out of the shell glass. Please let me know because I have a bet with Bill as to what it is. HA! The note cards are perfect from a gal whose life is all about sunshine and beaches. I can't thank you enough Becky. You are so dear to send all the extras when the bracelet is a fabulous gift all by itself. I am posting it on Monday my sweet friend. I do hope we get to see each other when you come to NC. I want to give you a great big hug.

Happy 4th of July. I hope you enjoy America's birthday with loved ones. My brother left today and we celebrated last night with all the sisters except one. It was a special time together.

    Love and hugs, Jeanne xoxoxo
