Thank You Sweet Friends!!

Happee Monday!!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much all of your love, care and prayers are appreciated, and all the joy reading each comment and email has brought me!  Each of you truly are gifts to me!!

I won’t be visiting around just yet…still not comfy to sit upright for too long, but wanted to update you.

I have received  lovely flowers, wonderful comfort food, lots of prayer and top notch care!!   I don’t have any complications and seem to be healing well.  The doctor let me leave the hospital saying that I am a healthy lady and would probably be more comfy at home, but gave me the option to stay.  As great as my nurse was, I opted to come home.  So glad I did!!

Thank you again, for your outpouring of love and prayers!
May God multiply your kindness back to you 100 fold!!

Love ya bunches!!
Becky

P.S.  Keep those prayers coming!!  :o)    I do so want to get on with this awesome new year!!

  2. Okay, I see that you had that little old nasty appendix removed! We are now truly sisters because mine is gone also. Although I had mine removed when I was just six years old. My son had his removed almost 4 years ago and it can be quite painful to recover from it!

I hope and pray you are feeling well soon. So glad your hubby made to the hospital in time. Could not imagine having to go through that without hubby present.

Your a special lady and I'm glad to know you're home and resting!!!

  4. YAY!! Sounds like you are well on your way to being up and around. Soo glad to hear you are doing good. You have been in my thoughts and prayers all week-end. Before you know it this will all be a distant memory. Take it easy though and don't push it, rest, read, and watch a few "happy" movies. Love you, Debbie

  6. Glad to hear you are on the mend!
And wonderful idea to leave the hospital! No offense to the medical field but I think the hospital is worst place to be! Too many germs and too easy to pick up an infection!
Plus, too cold and sterile ~ home, family, friends, and love are the best medicine! Good choice!
    Love and Prayers,
    Eileen

  8. I missed hearing about this, Becky. Hope you are feeling better very soon.
J had his appendix out a little over two years ago. He was 62 years old. They didn't figure out what it was for awhile and then they were in denial...no kiddin' the doctors couldn't believe it! They told us Apendicitis is a young persons ailment! That helped aleve J's pain a bit, when he heard that!:-)

  11. I am so glad the surgery went well, Becky. I had to have my appendix out when I was 16...the old fashioned way...and was in the hospital for 5 days! Got a five inch scar to prove it...amazing how they do it now!

Take care and enjoy the cookies.

    Stay Cozy,
    Carrie

  21. Becky!
Sorry I missed your post about surgery. So glad you are home and well on your way to a great recovery. I am at home today with a tummy bug. UGH. Lots of that going around in our school since the Christmas break. Not sure why??? The only good thing from it is I might lose a pound or 2. LOL!
    Hugs,

  25. Oh my gosh Becky, I am in shock. I had no idea you had your appendix out in an emergency. I am actually glad I didn't know, I would have been petrified for you. My sister almost died with this surgery. They even gave her last rites. Thank the good Lord she was saved by a wonderful doctor with help from our Lord. It just wasn't her time.

You poor thing, I know you will be fine but I also know the pain you went through. I had mine out too. OUCH!!!A long time ago. With your energy I believe you might think you are fine. You are not fine yet...but you will be. BIG SMILE.

Blessings, love and prayers are sent your way with love.
