Hmmmph!!! "Puter Probs Continue!!

Hi everyone,
Our computer is clear of viruses, but for some reason unbeknownst to me it is going almost as slow as dial-up!! Ugggh!! Quite frustrating!! I even have photoshop now and can't really enjoy using it because of this issue!! I am contacting Cisco tomorrow, because their technical support fixed it before. Hoping they can do it again!! We'll see!

Been very busy!! Had Keeper's today and had a blast with the girls!! It is such a wonderful group! I couldn't have hand picked a better one!! We made little gifts to give to people in need of some Christmas cheer as part of our "becoming other oriented training". Can't wait to hear their stories when the Christmas break is over!!

So what have you been up to?

The day after Thanksgiving we hit the road to north Florida and the hunting camp! We had a great time in spite of the freezing temps, but our freezer remains venison free. Oh well!!! Maybe we'll get one next time. Sure could use the meat!

I do have a praise to share with you, sweet friends!!! God answered that unspoken prayer request of mine, and all the glory is His!! Thank you so much for your support and prayer! He has been so wonderful to me, and I thank Him for His healing and for each of YOU!!

Hope your Friday is delightful!!
Miss ya'll and can't stand using this lap top!!
Love and hugs,
Becky

  3. Hi Becky! Missed ya, friend! So sorry about the computer problems! We had some recently too- fortunately, hubby works w/computers and two sons majored in them in college- so support is close by-- wish they could help you:)

I hear on the news that hunters were not happy up here with the low number of deer. Because of wasting disease in some the areas the DNR have killed off quite a few.

Anyway- love your new banner and blog background- beautiful!

Hey! Come by my place and see pics of our new liitle Elijah!!! :)

    Hugs,
    Linda

Enjoy your weekend and hopefully the computer people will be able to fix your computer!! Our main computer is also running very slow. I can't stand to be on it except to work. 8. I ABSOLUTELY cannot stand it when computers don't do what you want them too, when they crawl along soo slowly you want to scream, and in general drive me wild. Can you see how frustrated I have been by these inventions? And yet, where ever would I be without them? Not knowing a wonderful Becky that's for sure...I always use a lap top as I am soo much more comfortable sitting with it. However, we are having MANY issues with the cost of the wireless card. I never listen to u tube etc. as it takes way too much time out of my allotment. Hope you figure yours all out soon my friend, and PRAISE GOD for your answered prayer. He is soo good to us...Have a wonderful day...

    Hugs,

    Deb

  9. I've missed you. SO glad that your prayer request was granted. I have a prayer request for a friend's dog. I know that God loves animals, too. Please pray that little Maggie is cancer free. She is having surgery to remove a little place on her leg. I don't know if you know Kim at Daisy Cottage, but she is a sweetie and so is her precious little dog.

Hope you get your issues with the computer fixed. We've been having trouble with our internet. I hope they get it fixed, too.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  11. Hi sweet friend, I'm so glad to hear you had Thanksgiving at home and didn't go to camp until the next day. Sorry you are having problems-I so understand as my 'puter is very old and sometimes I think I'll just kick it to the curb.
Glad to hear about the praise.
    Love and hugs.

  12. Dear Becky,
Here's hoping your computer is working better. We put your surprise package in the US Mail this morning! I hope you like your gifts because I enjoyed making them for you. It's nice out here today (in the 50s) but tomorrow it's suppose to rain with a mix of snow in the afternoon (saying 1 inch). Of course we have activities planned for tomorrow. I'm going to a local craft fair in the morning with some neighbors and in the afternoon hubby and I are going on a local community Christmas Candlelight house tour. If it snows that will be the first time this winter. We really don't get much snow here in NE PA certainly not like we did when we lived in Chicago and Cleveland. Have a great day!

  13. hope your computer is fixed quickly! hunting has been really bare around here too. the butcher told my hubby this past weekend that not many deer were being brought in. they were lucky they got that one. and he did get one a few weeks ago when he went with the muzzle loader. thankfully my freezer is packed to the max. wish you lived closer, i'd be more than happy to share with you!

  14. Dear Becky, I hope your computer problems can be solved quickly. I know how frustrating that can be at times. I have been busy mailing our Christmas cards and getting my holiday goodie packages sent. I made up a huge batch of sugared walnuts and mixed them with dried cranberries and put them in pretty bags and bows. Your girls group sounds so wonderful. I bet you are as big a blessing to them as they are to you! Hugs, Elena

  18. Hi Dear friend.
Sorry your puter is acting up; it may just be the devil trying to steal your blog-joy! SOOO, we'll just pray that Cisco can get him out! lol.
I rejoice with you that your prayer was answered. God is soooo good! My Cale just called a few minutes ago and he got a deer this morning...Scot got one a couple of weeks ago, and we sure have enjoyed tenderloin and roasts! Maybe you'll get one soon! That and chicken is about all the meet we eat around here. I use ground deer just like ground beef, and no one knows the difference.
Hope you and yours are having a grand weekend!
    Much love,
    Liesa

  21. Hello Dear Sweet becky,
it seems like forever since we talked, i am sorry for your computer niche, I have had a few in the past, and they are not fun!. As for no venison in the freezer, I hope you get some soon,if not just come up here I see them often and they leave their deer ticks here to munch on me. LOL And you can have them all. I think they are pretty to look at, but am just a little weary of tick bites. lol.

Thank you so much for your concern, but I am truly thankful for your prayers, and your beautiful friendship. Your friendship I truly value.

I am feelings so much better, and am now trying to catchup on housework, and decorating, and getting ready for family. Hope your Sunday is filled with many Blessings.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Sue
