Do You Really Want to Know??

This is the river that Looking Glass Falls
flows into. So serene and lovely!
It really doesn't have anything to do with this
post, but I love it and thought I'd share it with
my friends!
***
Let's move on shall we??
***
I am typically a tag and award free blog, but
today I am making an exception since not one,
but two of my wonderful bloggy friends tagged
me with a "random things about me" tag!!
***
If you haven't met Kar and Nancy,
believe me, you are missing out!!
These two gals are fun and have so much
heart!! I hope you'll pop over and
introduce yourselves!! You'll love them!!
***
I am suppose to list 6 things, but ya'll
are going to have to hear 10.
***
Why? Because it's my blog and I can do
whatever I want to!! ;o)
***
Do You Really Want To Know???
1. I am the shortest in my family standing
at an incredible 5'2 1/2 ! Don't try
cracking on that 1/2 either!! I
need that and take it seriously! HA
***
2. I have wanted to visit Italy since I was a
teenager!
***
3. I am a very amateur lampwork bead
artist. In other words...I make glass
beads.
***
4. We have 4 daughters, and I had 4 mis-
carriages. 4 more children yet to meet
in heaven!! How cool is that?!!
***
5. I love making jewelry, but wear very little
of it myself.
***
6. I am a khaki and denim gal who puts ease
and comfort above "style", but do have fun
with getting snazzy once in awhile!
***
7. You may already know this, but I LOVE almost
anything outdoors!! The beach, canoeing,
kayaking, swimming, hiking, bike riding
picnics, you name it!!
***
8. I LOVE TO CREATE!!
***
9. I tend to be a perfectionist especially with
what I create and can be my own
worst enemy at times because of it!
***
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL...
***
10. I am a forgiven, saved by God's grace,
justified
through faith, blessed child of God,
and am
WHOLEHEARTEDLY AND UNASHAMEDLY
committed to living my life in obedience to
Him and His inerrant Word, The Holy Bible.
***
Do I hear an AMEN???!!!
***
Love ya'll!! Take the tag and share some
random things with us on your next post!!
Becky
Oh and one more thing!!
I cry at EVERYTHING!!!
Commercials, happy news, sad news,
greeting cards...again...you name it!!
***
Just thought you needed to know that!!
***
HUGS!!

  3. Hi Beck,
Nice talking with you today. Love that picture, just saw a flowing creek on the worship chanel and thought I would love to stick my feet in there right now!!
I did not know you had 4 miscarriages, wow, think you could have 8 children down here.
Nice to know you will get to meet them someday.
Isn't it so neat to have that hope!!
I think most of us are our own worst enemies really! I am learning slowly not to be, but it is a slow dying thing!!
Did you get in a nice swim?? and did you get
to visit with Wendy?? Can't wait to see Audrey the next time, these children grown so fast it is amazing.
Have a great night hon, glad yall had fun at

  7. Oh, Becky dear what a fun list to read! You sound like my mother-in-law on the subject of height. She is the runt of her family and always tells me how happy she is that I am tall (I am 5'10") and that her granddaughter, my Mary girl, is going to be tall:) It is so fun to learn new things about my friends in blog land. That is a lovely picture of the river. Good job! Hugs, Elena

  9. Hey There, Hi There, Ho There!
See...that wasn't so painful was it? Looks at all the neat things everyone gets to learn about you that we would have never known! 5'2 +1/2???
I am going to tower over you at 5'8" and therefore will have ample view to give you noogies if necessary! Have you ever watched the movie Enchanted April? It's about tow friends who rent a villa in Italy. You would definately be Lottie! Please rent it sometime if you haven't seen it, it make me think of me and you :)

  14. I loved reading this, Becky! I think I knew everything except that you are not tall. For some reason I pictured you as tall. I am the shortest one in my family too but I am 5'7.75" tall. I like my fraction of an inch..it helps at the scale. :-)

    Have a great day, Beck!

    Love, Bonnie

  21. Sweet and dear Becky....

Hmmmm......I think I'm going to need to write a book in response to this fab post!

Ahhhhhhh........JESUS....I wonder how some people can go a day without Him. So much to say here....He has blessed me so far above whatever I could WANT or ASK....My comfort and my Saviour. Blessed, for sure.

The River? How stunning is that view? It's as though it says PEACE, isn't it? Delish!

Short????? Yeah, me too........5'2"....no half here....and stretching to get the 2"....my daughter is 5'10! How in the heck did that happen? She started patting me on the head when she was about 12 or 13!

I love making jewelry too, but don't make the beads. It's on my list of things I want to learn to do. I think jewelry making is my all time favorite thing to create.

Yep, perfectionist too. It really holds me up from getting into things sometimes. That, and I hate to make a mess. And, believe me....I can make a BIG mess.

Crying....yep.....commercials, beauty....my grandson....except when I really should cry. No tears then.

Go here to see the island....I'm such a cheap girl...I'll do anything to save a buck!

    http://bellamerecottage.blogspot.com/2009/06/theres-handpainted-island-at-bellamere.html

I don't think you're going to have any more room for other responses now....does blogger condense books?

Big hugs sweet Becky! Have a wonderful weekend.
