In my devotions yesterday morning I read this quote and loved it!

ponder the greatness of our loving God, and His promises
to those who know Him personally and call upon Him in prayer.
We can be safe trusting and waiting for His perfect timing in anything
we are dealing with. Trust Him today! He won't disappoint you!

Well sweet friends, today I celebrate my 52nd year of life!!
WOOHOO!!!!
Never have I been more happy to be alive...
Never have I been more appreciative of all my blessings,
(and they are too numerous to even begin to count!!)
Never have I loved my Lord and Savior more,
and never have I looked forward to His coming more!
My prayer for me and for you is that we continue to grow
in the grace and love of Christ; that we put off all things
that displease Him, seeking with our whole hearts to honor
Him and allow Him to have His perfect work in our lives, so
that all who know us see us first as the light of Christ!
Praying His love falls fresh on you today!!!

My wish comes a day late; I'm so sorry. I wasn't on the computer this weekend. We had a wedding out of town Sat. and we were out of town yesterday....on our way home last night, we got a phone call and one of our church ladies had a heart attack...we turned around and went to the hospital. She passed away last night...please pray for the Vandiver family. She was in her early 50's. She has a husband and 2 grown children. Pray for my Scot as he will have many responsibilities this week with that.
I'm writing your birthday on my calendar....I WILL NOT BE LATE ON YOUR 53RD!!!! :)

those are amazing and beautiful shots. Anyone who walked through those gorgeous mountains and trails and did not feel in touch with God...well that would be sad for them because nature always brings me closer to my maker. Happy Birthday! I hope it was filled with all your hearts desires and dreams!
