UPDATE! Calling All My Girlies Out There!!

Good Morning Sweeties!

Can hardly believe that we are more than halfway through April
already!!  Where is the time going???

Sure have missed you all!  Things around here have been
a little bit weird.

About 2 weeks ago, I began to experience some strange
symptoms, and have been having tests run, going to the
chiropractor etc...

Tomorrow they will be doing an MRI of my brain.  Guess the
word got out that there might be some question about mine!!
(HA!!  Laughter is the best medicine, right?)
{smiles}

God has given me His peace, He is SO good like that!!!
But I would still sure love to know that all of my
girls out there are praying for me!!
Would ya, could ya?

You all are the best!!
I will let you know as soon as I know something!!

Hope your day is filled with sunshine and JOY!!

Give someone the blessing of your smile today!!
Love ya bunches!
Becky

UPDATE:
I have cancelled my appointment for the MRI tomorrow,
and have scheduled a new one on Thursday at 4:30.

I did some looking around online and decided to opt for the
stand up MRI, which seems much more comfortable
and isn't closed in at all!

Which one would you prefer?  The first one I would also
have a helmet thingy on that looks like a catcher's mask.

In the stand up, I can even watch tv while they're doing it, which
will take 75 minutes.  I may get to sit as well...seems it would keep
my head more still.

Yep...thought you'd agree!!

Love ya,
Becky

  3. My dear Becky...I'm sorry you've had some health problems...I felt like something was going on. I will for sure be praying for you...and don't worry, they'll find a perfectly normal brain in that pretty head of yours! :) Know that you will not be alone during the MRI; Your Heavenly Father will be right there with you. We studied about Angels last night at church; we don't even know the times God sends His angels to protect us and surround us. Please email me to let me know what you find out tomorrow. I promise to pray. Love you bunches, Liesa

  4. Hi Becky! Absolutely I'm praying! Take care dear friend. I know that you are leaning on Him and he knows all about it already.

And I know what they will find in your mind...a mind that is set on His Word, and a mind that is turned toward Jesus every day, not just on hard days. Keep that beautiful smile going girl!

    Love and Hugs,
    Linda

You are such a great testimony of that every time I come to this blog. I too would appreciate a prayer or two. I am having some trouble with one of my breats. I have an appointment tomorrow and I am TRYING to rest in His peace as well. I will be anxiously awaiting to hear what you find out. MUCH LOVE to you...HUGS AND BLESSINGS, Debbie

  15. Hi Becky,
My goodness Becky, how scary for you. But I know you will be just fine! sometimes our bodies just play tricks on us and it never happens again. This happened to Gary last year one very weird episode and it never happened again, Thank God. He had all the tests run too, brain scans, x-rays, blood work and so on.
You are sunshine Becky and you will keep shinning.
Love and hugs and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for sure.

  22. Hi Beck,
Guess you didn't get the answers you were hoping for from Dr. Wells. I wanted to call today but
talked to Diane for awhile. Al is in the hospital and they think he might have Lymphoma. Sounds pretty serious!
That stand up MRI sure sounds better to me, since it is 75 mins. wow, that is a long time!!
    Will sure be praying hon!!
    Talk to you soon,
    Love ya, Nellie

  23. Oh, good for you with the stand-up MRI!
I had the one in the tunnel a few years ago (but it was only half-an-hour), it was not pleasant and I was getting claustrophobic so you opted for the better!

YES! I will be sending prayers to Heaven for you. May God Build a Wall of His Loving Protection around you.
    Love and Prayers,
    Eileen

  31. Ahhh....my Sweet Becky..... God laid you on my heart today. I've been praying for you allll day. You just keep popping into my little head.

Yep, definitely the upright model. I've been having lots of trouble with my shoulder and I've been scared to death they were going to shoot me into the tube. (That's why I haven't gone to the Dr. about it...)... I've never seen the open one. Several years ago I had to have some sort of imaging...the sides were totally open, but there was a gizmo....a BIG gizmo that came right down on me. My Hubbs had to fan me with a magazine....for the entire test. I'm soooo not good at small spaces. Yipppeee....for open imaging... :-)

I'll be waiting to hear the results of your testing.

    Much love dear one....

  32. Becky...I had an MRI two years ago (laying down kind) and I had a total freak-out meltdown when they put the brace on my chest and metal form on my head. They had to let me out and I then TOOK the Valium they had offered me when I first came in.

    I'm pretty calm...but I didn't do well. don't want to worry you...but I think you made a GREAT CHOICE!

    Prayers going up!

    Rebecca

  33. Oh Becky I am soo glad I checked back here and found out that you are going for the open MRI...My sister ATTEMPTED one yesterday, complete with the catchers mask and all and she COULD NOT even do the test even with a little medication to help. She said she was litterally squeezed into the tube. Her's has been rescheduled for next Mon in the open one as well. I was soo worried about you after I heard her experience. Looks like the Lord was way ahead of me. Praying all goes well. Love you, Debbie

  38. I've had a few MRI's with my head facing down and I'd prefer anything different. I tried to imagine myself on a beach but kept getting interrupted by the loud noises from the MRI. It would be nice if they could come up with a more Zen MRI? :) Good luck, I think you've made the right choice.

  39. Becky, I hope and pray that all went well for you!!! Please let us hear.

I have been with the workmen for the past several weeks, and I haven't been blogging. I'm glad I saw this because I want to know what is going on with you. Have missed you. Lots of craziness going on, but I think we are finally moving ahead. I just needed a break today so I came home and got online. I hope to be blogging again soon.

    Love you much...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  41. By now you've had the MRI. My mother had the one where she had to wear the helmet and she said it was awful. I would definitely do the stand up one in a heart beat.

I hope all went well. We prayed for you in our church last night and I've been praying almost daily. Hope all is well and the tests come back showing NOTHING!! Well, you know what I mean!

  42. Just stopping by to let you know that I am thinking about you. I hope you are feeling better!

  43. Hi Becky,
I'm a little behind in blog reading and just read your post about your needing a MRI. I didn't even know there was a stand up (or sit down) MRI. I think I would prefer that over lying down. When I lie down my sinuses drain and I would be coughing. I hope your test goes well and that everything is ok.

    Hugs,
    Teacup Lane (Sandy)
