Walkin' the Line!

It is a beautiful morning here in central Florida.
It's a little cool, the birds are singing, the squirrels are
scurrying around, and a light breeze is ruffling the palms.

My very favorite kind of morning!
Thank You Lord!

Well dear friends, wish I could tell you that nothing showed
up on my MRI, but that is not the case.

It revealed four lesions ranging in size from 6-8 mm.
It seems at this point that the goal is to eliminate suspicion
that I might have Multiple Sclerosis.

The Dr. wants to do another MRI of my cervical
spine area (the neck), and a lumbar puncture
to see if there is any evidence of previous activity or
other lesions.

There are a number of things about all of this that are quite
curious that will all have to be considered before any diagnosis
is made.

One of which is that I have been seeing the chiropractor and
have had relief from almost all of my symptoms.

So here I stand looking down the line to what lies ahead for me.

My friends, I can only see so far down the line,
but I have never been more thankful to know that
the amazing God of the Bible,
my Lord and Savior,
who formed me in my mother's womb,
who knows how many hairs are on my head,
who calls me by name,
and who will NEVER leave me,
has gone before me in this
and is already taking care of things up there where
I cannot see.

With Him, I will walk the line, and trust that wherever
this journey takes me, He has already been (He is the Alpha
and Omega you know) the beginning and the end...

He has strengthened my inner person and
given me a very deep abiding peace, though
I must say I have been a bit weepy.

I am making extreme dietary changes
that will help my immune system function at peak performance
and also help me get my weight where it should be.
Always a silver lining you know?
{a smile and a wink}

One thing I can say for sure is that the last 6 years of
my life there has never been a dull moment!

What an adventure this life is, huh?
I'm so glad that I have the Maker of the universe
walking beside me and guiding me through!
(sometimes carrying me!)

Also SO glad to have YOU all along with me!
What a HUGE blessing you are!!!
Of course, I continue to covet your prayers in regards
to all of this.

I will keep you updated for sure!

Have a glorious day!!
Love you bunches!!

  12. Dear, sweet Becky. Please know that you are in my prayers and also know what a testimony of faith today's blog is! May the God of Heaven and Earth bless you with His mercy and grace!

  13. Hi Becky,
Sorry to hear about your worrisome lesions. Having a final diagnosis eventually will be nice. I am glad, however, you are able to get relief by seeing the chiropractor and I think that is a good thing to focus on. Thinking of you!

  14. Dear Becky, Thank you for this update. You are in my heart and prayers. I know the Lord loves you so much and nothing is impossible for Him. We just need to believe. My brother-in-law had some strange symptons and told his general practitioner about it. She said is sounded like MS but he has not gone to be tested. They did get clearance from the insurance and the doctor's referral to a neurologist but he has not gone. I am not sure why. So I just keep him in my prayers. Take care today and know I would give you a big hug if I were there. Love, Elena

  15. Becky, you are in my prayers.

My cousin has MS, she was diagnosed in her early twenties, she just turned forty-five on April 1. She's had set-backs, she's had to make adjustments in her life, but, Becky, SHE LOVES LIFE, and she lives it to the fullest. And her steadfast Faith in God is an inspiration, as are you!

"The Lord Is Good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He Is close to those who trust in Him." ~ Nahum 1:7

"God has not promised sun without rain, joy without sorrow, peace without pain. But God has promised strength for the day, rest for the labor, light for the way, grace for the trials, help from above, unfailing sympathy, Undying Love." ~ Annie Johnson Flint

    Love and Prayers,

  16. Becky, I am so sorry about your MRI results.. I pray that there isn't any more lesions anywhere else.. and I know that you know that our LORD will always be right there beside you no matter what!
I have and will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers..

  17. Becky, I'm so sorry that your MRI didn't have good results. I will continue to think of you and pray for you as you continue testing. I am thankful you are leaning on Him through all of this.

  18. oh, precious friend. I am sorry that you are having to go through this, but I am so thankful that you are walking through it hand-in-hand with our Lord! He is right there and He already knows the final diagnosis. Your faith and confidence in Him is just so amazing. I pray that He will continue to watch over and guide you and that will be bathed in perfect peace!

  19. What a testimony you are, Becky, to leaning on the Lord in good times and hard times. I am praying for you, dear friend, as we wait to hear. It is such good news that your chiropractor therapy is so effective to your symptoms.
Our loving Lord will take you through this as He has so many other things. God bless you, Becky.

"By your side, through the fight, you will never be alone, you've got me and Jesus" are the words to a song that my daughter and her friends sing- I'll email it to you:)

  20. Hey Beck,
So sorry to hear that the MRI didn't come out clear. We will be praying for you and your family. Yes, our great God and Savior, JESUS CHRIST is with you and has a plan.
May the shelter of His Peace calm and comfort you. We are just a phone call away.
    Love you lots,
    Jess and Tone

  21. I am saddened to read this, but as you said so well, HE does go before us and carries us when needed. You will remain in my prayers.
I would love to treat you to lunch when you feel up to it. It looks like I might be going on a eco river boat ride this Friday and I'd love to have you come if you can.

  22. Becky I am hopeful, as is Nellie, that this is not a firm diagnosis and that the chiropractor can fix you up just fine. My feeling is don't let your mind run wild with it since you don't know for sure. I know so many people that have been misdiagnosed with things that never came to pass.

Your faith in Jesus Christ can move mountains,Becky,I know it can! I have pondered and had a prayer in my heart for you all day, may we all share your burden together that it may be lightened. You are loved by Him and all of us. Love changes everything! May you be upheld in the arms of His love every minute and come out as always...Sunny Side Up!

    I love you...Bon

  23. Dear Becky,
I am so sorry for this report, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. What a wonderful testimony of encouragement you have written today. It seems we should be encouraging you, but it is you that has lifted us up.
May the God of Peace continue to surround and fill you with that Peace, which surpasses all of our understanding, as He heals you.
    Hugs, and much love,

  24. My dear Becky; there has not been a day go by that I haven't thought of you and prayed for you. As a matter of fact, I almost called you to check on you. I'm sorry that the news is not real good, but I'm thankful that it's not worse news too. I will continue to lift you up to our wonderful, all-knowing, CAN DO ANYTHING God each and every single day. Please keep me informed. Love always, Liesa

  25. I have been thinking of you so much these past few days and praying for you. What an outpouring of love being shown to you in all these comments! Please know that I stand right there with you and these other beautiful ladies in praying for you!!! You have been nothing more than a true dear friend to me since I started blogging and I know that the Lord is going to see through this!!!!

    Love you!!! Lois

  26. Becky...

I want you to know that I'm lifting you up to my friend, my healing Jesus. I asked Him to continue to bless you with peace and love and I'm believing He WILL do just that.

You are in my thoughts. Jesus healed me 20 years ago from an auto immune disorder. If He can do it for me He can do it for you.

    Love to you~Rebecca

  27. Praying for you and your new results coming and that you will have a correct diagnosis....I have walked and am walking this path with you in many ways.....God's ways are always best...although at times it hasn't always felt like it...often I cling to Romans 8:28....

Thank you so much for taking the time to share some JOY!
You're a blessing to me!
