UPDATE! Calling All My Girlies Out There!!

Good Morning Sweeties!

Can hardly believe that we are more than halfway through April
already!!  Where is the time going???

Sure have missed you all!  Things around here have been
a little bit weird.

About 2 weeks ago, I began to experience some strange
symptoms, and have been having tests run, going to the
chiropractor etc...

Tomorrow they will be doing an MRI of my brain.  Guess the
word got out that there might be some question about mine!!
(HA!!  Laughter is the best medicine, right?)

God has given me His peace, He is SO good like that!!!
But I would still sure love to know that all of my
girls out there are praying for me!!
Would ya, could ya?

You all are the best!!
I will let you know as soon as I know something!!

Hope your day is filled with sunshine and JOY!!

Give someone the blessing of your smile today!!
Love ya bunches!

I have cancelled my appointment for the MRI tomorrow,
and have scheduled a new one on Thursday at 4:30.

I did some looking around online and decided to opt for the
stand up MRI, which seems much more comfortable
and isn't closed in at all!

Which one would you prefer?  The first one I would also
have a helmet thingy on that looks like a catcher's mask.

In the stand up, I can even watch tv while they're doing it, which
will take 75 minutes.  I may get to sit as well...seems it would keep
my head more still.

Yep...thought you'd agree!!

Love ya,

  1. B~
of course we're sending oodles of prayers your way..that's what friends are for!
    warmest hugs,,

  2. I have a said a prayer for you. May God bless and keep you.

  3. My dear Becky...I'm sorry you've had some health problems...I felt like something was going on. I will for sure be praying for you...and don't worry, they'll find a perfectly normal brain in that pretty head of yours! :) Know that you will not be alone during the MRI; Your Heavenly Father will be right there with you. We studied about Angels last night at church; we don't even know the times God sends His angels to protect us and surround us. Please email me to let me know what you find out tomorrow. I promise to pray. Love you bunches, Liesa

  4. Hi Becky! Absolutely I'm praying! Take care dear friend. I know that you are leaning on Him and he knows all about it already.

And I know what they will find in your mind...a mind that is set on His Word, and a mind that is turned toward Jesus every day, not just on hard days. Keep that beautiful smile going girl!

    Love and Hugs,

  5. Oh, Becky! I'm sorry to hear you're having to go through this and yes! I'm praying for you now! Glad to hear you still have your sense of humor. Blessings,

  14. Oh Becky, no wonder you have been feeling a bit of fear and I am so glad that your Heavenly Father has blessed you with peace. I will pray for you and put your name on our prayer rolls. I have a feeling there will be many prayers ascending on your behalf. May God richly bless you, one of his best missionaries around! Keep us posted, OK?

I love you,Beck, you are going to be just fine...I know it!

    Hugs, Bon

  15. Hi Becky,
My goodness Becky, how scary for you. But I know you will be just fine! sometimes our bodies just play tricks on us and it never happens again. This happened to Gary last year one very weird episode and it never happened again, Thank God. He had all the tests run too, brain scans, x-rays, blood work and so on.
You are sunshine Becky and you will keep shinning.
Love and hugs and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for sure.

  16. Oh Becky, I will certainly pray for you as you go through this MRI. Medical tests can be so scary. Sending you love today!

  17. I am praying for you now Becky.

  18. I have shot my prayer arrows up there for you. Will be thinking and praying for you.

MRI ' s are noisy but not too scary. (so far had 5 ;) and they still cannot find my brain lol..)

  19. I will be praying for you FOR SURE!

  20. so sorry you are having some health issues. I'll be praying for you!

  21. Oh Becky, I pray sincerely that all will go well with your tests. Open MRI absolutely!!! I hate being closed in. Please do let us know how it goes. My prayers will be constant my dear sweet friend.
    Love you, Jeanne

  22. Hi Beck,
Guess you didn't get the answers you were hoping for from Dr. Wells. I wanted to call today but
talked to Diane for awhile. Al is in the hospital and they think he might have Lymphoma. Sounds pretty serious!
That stand up MRI sure sounds better to me, since it is 75 mins. wow, that is a long time!!
    Will sure be praying hon!!
    Talk to you soon,
    Love ya, Nellie

  23. Oh, good for you with the stand-up MRI!
I had the one in the tunnel a few years ago (but it was only half-an-hour), it was not pleasant and I was getting claustrophobic so you opted for the better!

YES! I will be sending prayers to Heaven for you. May God Build a Wall of His Loving Protection around you.
    Love and Prayers,

  24. Becky, I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well and you know you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

  25. I'll be parying for you, Becky! Hope everything turns out well. Take care!...Christine

  26. Hi Becky,
So sorry to hear you have had it rough lately. Will be with you in spirit on Thursday as you go through your test. Much love flowing your way!

  27. Good for you Becky!! Doing your own research and picking what's best for your comfort!!! I'm glad you found a more comfortable option!! Still praying!!!

    Love you lots!!!

  28. Beck,

    We've got your back!
    Praying for you lots.
    Love, me

  29. I like what Jess said..."We've got your back!" I will be praying for you my friend. Please keep us posted!!!!

  30. Praying for you as well. I've had an mri done, but not for 75 minutes! Let me know if there's any thing I can do...I'm here.

  31. Sweet Becky..... God laid you on my heart today. I've been praying for you allll day. You just keep popping into my little head.

Yep, definitely the upright model. I've been having lots of trouble with my shoulder and I've been scared to death they were going to shoot me into the tube. (That's why I haven't gone to the Dr. about it...)... I've never seen the open one. Several years ago I had to have some sort of imaging...the sides were totally open, but there was a gizmo....a BIG gizmo that came right down on me. My Hubbs had to fan me with a magazine....for the entire test. I'm soooo not good at small spaces. Yipppeee....for open imaging... :-)

I'll be waiting to hear the results of your testing.

    Much love dear one....

  32. Becky...I had an MRI two years ago (laying down kind) and I had a total freak-out meltdown when they put the brace on my chest and metal form on my head. They had to let me out and I then TOOK the Valium they had offered me when I first came in.

    I'm pretty calm...but I didn't do well. don't want to worry you...but I think you made a GREAT CHOICE!

    Prayers going up!

  33. Oh Becky I am soo glad I checked back here and found out that you are going for the open MRI...My sister ATTEMPTED one yesterday, complete with the catchers mask and all and she COULD NOT even do the test even with a little medication to help. She said she was litterally squeezed into the tube. Her's has been rescheduled for next Mon in the open one as well. I was soo worried about you after I heard her experience. Looks like the Lord was way ahead of me. Praying all goes well. Love you, Debbie

  34. Becky,
    Praying for you.
Will be watching to hear more news.

  35. Hi Becky, thinking of you today. Hope all is well. Praying for your tests and a good result.
    Love xoxoxo, Jeanne

  36. Just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers, especially today dear Becky.

  37. hi becky
i just found my way to your blog, thru your comment on mine. you are in my thoughts and prayers... for sure.

your blog is just so lovely!!

no pressure, at all... but it's not too late to join the class. actually i have several that haven't started. it's self paced so you can work away at it on your time. i will be leaving the videos up for several weeks after the class ends. like i said, no pressure at all.

best to you..... and i can't wait to come visit again.

    talk soon, kim

  38. I've had a few MRI's with my head facing down and I'd prefer anything different. I tried to imagine myself on a beach but kept getting interrupted by the loud noises from the MRI. It would be nice if they could come up with a more Zen MRI? :) Good luck, I think you've made the right choice.

  39. Becky, I hope and pray that all went well for you!!! Please let us hear.

I have been with the workmen for the past several weeks, and I haven't been blogging. I'm glad I saw this because I want to know what is going on with you. Have missed you. Lots of craziness going on, but I think we are finally moving ahead. I just needed a break today so I came home and got online. I hope to be blogging again soon.

    Love you much...

    Sheila :-)

  40. Becky - I am so glad that I found your blog - it is just awesome. I am praying for you my sweet sister in Christ. I will be covering you with the sweet fragrance of Him and His healing touch.

    Love to you - Beth

  41. By now you've had the MRI. My mother had the one where she had to wear the helmet and she said it was awful. I would definitely do the stand up one in a heart beat.

I hope all went well. We prayed for you in our church last night and I've been praying almost daily. Hope all is well and the tests come back showing NOTHING!! Well, you know what I mean!

  42. Just stopping by to let you know that I am thinking about you. I hope you are feeling better!

  43. Hi Becky,
I'm a little behind in blog reading and just read your post about your needing a MRI. I didn't even know there was a stand up (or sit down) MRI. I think I would prefer that over lying down. When I lie down my sinuses drain and I would be coughing. I hope your test goes well and that everything is ok.

    Teacup Lane (Sandy)

Thank you so much for taking the time to share some JOY!
You're a blessing to me!
