My hunk loves country music, and when we were driving, I heard a song by Kenny Chesney from 2008 called "Don't Blink".
It's funny sometimes where inspiration comes from, and this song is a great example. It's about life, slowing down, setting priorities, and truly focusing on what is important.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to take the time to listen, Becky! I have been convicted about this "smelling the roses" lately, and I often wonder if time hasn't just speeded up to hasten the Lord's return. It's like you want to be sure and live every second to its fullest and not squander a thing.

Kenny Chesney is definitely one of my fav's. I love country music too and that song is WONDERFUL...I LOVE it. It's going to be in my head today now, but that's OK. It is a good message. Have a wonderful day Becky. HUGS

That is a great song and video. So true. I am so thankful things slowed way down for me and we have our little Mary girl in our later years. Every day is a treasure:)
