THANKFUL-O-METER???
I am still just shocked that the holiday season is upon us!
But, it is a wonderful time of the year, and one I will
always look forward to! Just have to slow down,
soak it all in, and enjoy every moment!
I have to tell you, my heart is so overflowing with thankfulness!
Remember when I said our oldest daughter and her family
moved...about 6 months ago...and that I was praying for God's
will and not for my own {of course He did know what I wanted}
{smile}
WELL, not only are they moving back to Florida...
in 3 weeks....
SHE ALSO HAS A BISCUIT IN THE OVEN!!
YES, A SECOND GRANDY ON THE WAY!!!
IS GOD AMAZING OR WHAT????

He has answered so many prayers, and yet some still haven't come
into fruition yet...with the emphasis on YET!! But that is fine and
dandy...it helps me exercise my faith muscle!! And I don't ever
want to have weak faith! Thank you Lord, for all of life's challenges,
that are merely opportunities for growing to be more like You!!

ReplyDeleteYea, I can hardly believe Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away. Am gonna start making my menu plan tonight. Talked with the kids and hubby today to see what items they really wanted, cause I am not doing Turkey, most of us don't really like it, and I have a chicken dish that we all adore, so we are going untraditional in the Turkey way at least!! lol Hopefully, we are going grocery shopping tomorrow and I can get all the unrefrigerated items then, so I will only have to go back later for fresh stuff.
Now gotta think of another tablescape for Thanksgiving, am already thinking of one of Megan's birthday, so I am brain storming......about to break my wee brain I'm afraid!! lol
Nice that you got the go ahead to share your good news.......nice they will be here in time for Christmas. Bet Sam is gonna be one happy girl to see her Mom and family.

Just finished making a big pot of Beef veggie soup, first time to do this recipe, so sure hope it is good!!
