Birds, pears, pumpkins, owls and acorns…I can hardly resist them!!
Not quite sure what the appeal is for me…but I LOVE them!
I have an oak tree in my yard, but the acorns are so very small.
So I decided to try and make some from fabric to scatter
about the house and possibly put in my shop.
What do you think of my first acorn? A bit prim, but
fun I think!
I am going to make them from wool and various other fabrics.
This one was a trial, and I didn’t make an effort to keep
my thread from showing. The thread won’t show if I make any more.
Let me know what you think!!
Gotta run and get back to craftin’!
Love and big hugs to you!
Becky

Very, Very cute!! I am so looking forward to your etsy shop!!! It's hard to believe it's almost fall - and I will be getting out my autumn decorations!! We're having a heat wave here - three days in a row of 90*!! People are melting :0)!! We're due to go back to the low 70's tomorrow so I think summer will be over (all three days)!! People from Florida probably laugh when we from Seattle get excited over temps over 80 for more than two days!!!
ReplyDeleteHope your week is wonderful!!!
Hugs,
Christine

Those are precious! Great job! You asked about the Kid Time place in our town. They didn't serve food but they do have a cafe area where you can bring your own food and eat. There are so many things to do! Have a blessed day dear friend!
