JOY For Our Journey~~Unpaid Debt?

Eternal_VISA_Brbutton

JESUS PAID IT ALL

ALL TO HIM I OWE

SIN HAD LEFT A CRIMSON STAIN

HE WASHED IT WHITE AS SNOW
.

I just love the wisdom and truth of the old hymns.
These words are from one of them, and are a
simple yet strong reminder of all Christ did in our behalf when He died for the sins of the world.

Do you have sin debt you cannot pay?  Are you
haunted by the guilt of past sins, or are you struggling to break a cycle of sin in your life?

Do you want to experience the freedom and joy that come from cancelling out that sin debt and walking with God?

God sent Jesus to pay our sin debt!

My friend, you can be free from it all!

We just have to acknowledge that we are sinners, turn from our sin,  believe that Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sin debt, and ask Him to come into our hearts and be the Lord of our lives. He will then come into your heart, forgive your sins, and begin to make you more like Him.  Plus…we get to live in heaven with Him for all of eternity!!  How awesome is that??

I did just that 22 years ago, and Jesus met me right where I was at, but loved me enough to not let me stay there.  I have grown in my knowledge and love for Him beyond what I am able to express with mere words.  He truly is LIFE to me!   I have eternal life in heaven after I leave this earth,  and I cannot even begin to imagine life here without Him.

This is no doubt the single most important decision I have ever made and one that I have never regretted!  Thank You Jesus!

If you haven’t received Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, won’t you consider receiving His wonderful gift of forgiveness of sins and eternal life with Him today?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

  2. I love that hymn. And you're right, as much as I love the newer more contemporary songs, nothing hits home more than a good old hymn that truly speaks of God's love and salvation. Great post. I love how you are constantly using your blog to tell of the Lord's love for us!!! You never know who you are reaching!

  3. Amen Becky! The most wonderful decision anyone can make. Sometimes I hear people say that they've just done too much bad to be forgiven and accepted by God. I just ask them to consider God's character traits and then consider Satan's, who is the accuser, and then ask them to think about who would say that to them. God or The Accuser? God wants us all, He just wants us to come to Him, and those He foreknew He also presestined to become like His Son. We don't have to come perfect, we just need to come and then He will transform us into new creatures full of peace knowing that we will spend eternity with God and surrounded by love.

  4. Morning Becky,
Amen, Amen and Amen!! How good it is to know Jesus, there is no one else like him, he is always there and always willing to listen, and we can always count on Him even if everyone else has taken a hike! He will never leave, He will never forsake us!!
What a truth and a promise.
Hope you are having a good Tuesday, so far,
The A/C man is here trying to clear our plugged
lines. We started having difficulties yesterday afternoon, and Jim was able to do somethings so we could at least have air, he knows what usually works to unplug the lines,
but it didn't work this time, but praise the
Lord, we had air last night!! and we got thru
our dinner and fun time with the kids and their dates with no A/C problems, we could hear it leaking but the air was still working.
We had a great time. We really like Scotts new friend, she seems lovely.
Well, have a great day my friend.
    Love ya hon, Nellie

  10. Becky this a a wonderful post. I ♥ the credit card photo and am also a lover of hymns. If I feel down I can count on them to raise me up. Even just the words in my little pocket hymnal are so uplifting. I love the fact that Jesus and our Heavenly Father love us because of who they are, not because of who we are. Anyone can partake of the gift. Beautiful.

I hope you are feeling better now and I loved your idea about sepia toning that photo for the laundry room! I am going to do it!

  12. Hello dear Becky, your testimony touched my heart. without our Lord we are nothing. The hymn is beautiful and says it all. Thank you for sharing in such a beautiful way.

I'm glad you had a great Labor day with family. It doesn't get better than that. We had a quiet day which allowed me to sew my tablecloth. I haven't used my swing machine for two years. I guess I was inspired. Big smile.

    Happy days to you Becky.

    Hugs xoxo, Jeanne

  15. Hey Becky, Love your comment today and you too girl. I too love the Smokies the best. the Rockies are amazing but the Smokies are warm, green, and a beautiful place to live or visit. The Rockies seem so untouchable. Yes, we did love this spot so much. We were in that area for 5 days.

Your song is such a joy to listen to. And yes, the next song says it all. A wonderful world.

    Love, Jeanne

  18. There is NO doubt in my mind that if I had not accepted Christ, I would NOT have 5 children and feel that they are a blessing, I would not still be married after 27 years and the list could go on and on.
I also LOVE your new header. It is SO pretty!

  19. Amen, Becky, Amen!

He bought and paid for my sin. Hallelujah! I don't know what I would do without Him, but thankfully, I don't have to wonder. I'm happy to claim Him as my Lord and Savior and have called Him that for more years than I can count, but "officially" as in accepting His sacrifice (thus Him) since I was twelve.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
