Just Beachy!!

HAPPEE THURSDAY, SWEETIES!!
This morning we hit the road and headed
for...you guessed it...
the beach!!!
Hope you're not sick and tired of my beachy
posts, but have I told you that

I LOVE THE BEACH???

OK, I'll hush up now and just let you take in
the beauty of the Atlantic ocean,
and my little Emily having lots of fun in the sun!!

Right before we left the weather was changing
and the waves were simply mesmerizing as
the sunlight danced across them!! When they
began to curl, it looked like thousands of brilliant
diamonds sparkling!!

You can click this next one to enlarge!
Don't have any idea why the others won't!!
It certainly was a wonderful way to begin the day!!
Now, I'm off to get some work done!!

Love and Hugs to you,

Becky

  3. Hi Girlie,
Glad you had a fun time at the beach. While you were beaching I was sewing. the little sundresses came out so cute. All we had to do was sew one seam and add shoulders straps made
from ribbon. Can't wait to see how they look on Grace her little 2 yr. old. I am feeling
    so much better today. Yea!!
    Have a good afternoon hon,
    Blessings, Nellie

  9. Oh Becky, who could get tired of beach shots? I am longing for some dried salt on my skin -- I think we'll brave the traffic and head to the beach house this weekend.

Your little girl is just so adorable! I have to smile when I see her!

  19. ahhhhh...the beach! I love your beach posts. I swear I can almost hear the waves and smell the salt water. My 3 year old has been asking to go to the beach for a long time now (she saw it on Dora The Explorer). Unforunately today in Michigan we still had our winter clothes on...it's almost June for cryin' out loud! UGH! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you :-)

  20. I think this is my first visit and odd because I was just writing in my post about NEEDING to get to the beach! Emily is a doll. Hope you have a wonderful and restful trip!

  21. Dear BFF,
I just want to say if you ever take your header picture down, I would be sad, very, very said. That picture of Emily is just the cutest thing ever! I can feel her sunshine and excitment for life everytime I see it...don't let winter roll around unless of you a picture of her overjoyed that Santa has come, that MAY be the only subtitute I can think would be okay. Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures. There is something
therapeutic about sunshine and smelling the salty mist coming off the sea...then add in your cute peanut...that equals heaven!

    Hugs and Smiles,
    BFF Kansas Style! :)

  23. What a beautiful little girl your Emily is! The ocean scenery is gorgeous. I want to be there instead of at my computer thinking about the June budget and wrapping up May paperwork. UGH!

  25. we love the beach so much too. Florida is so awesome! I've already told my husband if we ever hit the lottery ( of course that means we would actually have to buy a ticket which we never do, lol), but if we were to win somehow, we would totally have to buy a beach house in Siesta Key because we love it there sooo much! Maybe some day right?!

  26. Dearest Becky, your little Emily is just the most beautiful little star!! Such a sweet face, so happy and bright!! It looks like so much fun being there - I hope you are making lots of incredible memories together, there is something so special about a day together at the shore!! Much love to you all for the weekend ahead my dear friend, Fiona x x

  27. The Florida beach looks lovely. Oregon beaches are lovely in a different way. We get the cold water and weather from Alaska. So it is very wind swept, cold and most of the time you can have the whole beach to yourself! There are many fun places to see there. Your little Emily is adorable. Have a wonderful weekend dear friend! Elena

  28. Hi Becky,
Love your beach shots and Emily is such a little cutie...
Can you see me? No...well I am green with envy...I would love to go to the beach often. But come next February, March and possibly April we will be spending the time in Florida, just 20 minutes from the beach. We will be in a town called Cape Coral. I can't wait!!! Until then I will be looking at your beach pictures and dreaming.

  31. The beach is one of the best places in the world!! My parents live just a few miles from the Pacific Coast. I can walk for miles along the water's edge never realizing how far I've walked - of course the walking back is just as fun because the waves bring up new stuff to find! I'd love to walk along the Atlantic Coast and see what kind of shells are there! Do you have Sand Dollars there? If you don't next time I find some at my folks beach I'll send you some - they are so pretty!
