Party On!!!

It was a picture perfect Florida day!

Blue skies as far as the eye could see!

A great day for a party!!!!

The view through my windshield on
I-95 headed north...by myself in the car, {AMAZING!}
beautiful music playing...
anticipating meeting some wonderful
new friends and some beloved bloggy friends
and praying that we all arrive safe and sound!

And safe and sound we were!
Our gracious hostess was no other
than the Quintessential Magpie herself...and let me tell you...
she is an ABSOLUTE JOY!!

She really decked the halls for a festive birthday
celebration for a lovely bloggy buddy named Claudie!

Just look at the decorations...goody bags and all!
Perfection!  And yes!  We wore those blossom headbands!!
HA!!  What a sight we were!!

A close-up of the table settings....charming to the last detail!
                                              In true Magpie fashion!!

We all had a great time!  I'll show you in my next post
all the goodies I brought home!!

We walked to the restaurant, and
were treated to a delicious lunch by Mr. and Mrs.
Magpie, and then headed back to the house for dessert
and the rest of the party!!

I met my delightful bloggy friend, Jeanne, from Backyard Neighbor,
Deborah from Vintage Soul, a sweet gal named Lisa from AKA West,
and Teresa from Georgia who I think just started blogging!

We ate and laughed and laughed and ate!
Mrs. Magpie served
up a wonderful chocolate ganache cake and we also
had a cheesecake that sweet Jeanne brought!

Oh and I almost forgot...Stichin' Stella came along, too!
She had quite the time, but managed to stay out of trouble...
I think!
If you have never heard of her I will post a link so
you can see her visit with us when someone has some pics!!

Sadly, I had to leave first...WAHHHH!!!...but I will be
in for more fun on Tuesday!  Mrs. Magpie, Claudie and Julie
are headed down here to my neck of the woods so
we can all go on an airboat ride and have dinner!!

What a treat!!
What a great group of gals!!
WISH YOU ALL COULD HAVE JOINED US!!!

What a party that would be!!!!

Remember what I said...

BLOG FRIENDS ARE REAL FRIENDS!!

So glad to have you all as friends!!!  You bless
me each and everyday!!

Have a joyful week!!
Love ya!!
Becky

I will do a blog post too but I am wore out. Our drive was 5 hours to and the same back. Then my son and I are going to visit my grandmother in Jamaica on Friday which entails more running around. 29. Hi Becky, I have been so busy these past few days but I am so glad I have a few minutes to visit my lovely blogging friend from Deland. Your post is terrific and I just relived our wonderful day. We DID, have a fabulous time together. Love your photos. I am going to post our party for Pink Saturday. Yesterday I posted about Claudie and Julie's visit to NC.

Right now I am in Kissimmee visiting my other daughter. I am having fun with my grands. Ashley is 15 and Logan is 13. Of course, I adore them. My daughter and I are sewing a valance for Logan's room. Then back to Jax. Whew, I am tired of running the roads.

I bet you had fun on the airboat ride. I was hoping you would post about that too. smile.

Time for coffee, I need it! HA!
    Love you xoxoxo,
    Jeanne

  30. Dear sweet Becky
I'm sitting here on Karen's computer, thinking about all of you. My mind is still spinning with delightful memories of my wonderful blogging family. It was sooooo much fun wasn't it? Mrs Magpie is "the cherry on top". I miss her! Your the first I've visited since the party.
I just wanted to come and say hello, and tell you how much fun Julie and I had on that air boat ride.
I wish we would have had more time together ; )
Your daughter is very very precious. A real lady.
It's nearly 3am, took the girls to South Beach today. WILD WILD is all I can say right now. I can hear the rain falling & all is peaceful.
Love You to the moon and back.
    P.S. Those cookies were AMAZING!
    Love Claudie

  33. Becky,

It's late, and I'm kind of crazed from trying to play catch up on the blogs! But I had to come by and give you a cyber hug. It was a fun time! And I've got to tell you that you make one mean cookie. Loved all the goodies, but you more.

On a different note, we need your prayers. We have someone looking at the house, and I explained it all on my blog. Please be in agreement with us.

    Thanks SO much...

    XO,

Sheila (with the toothpicks in her eyes!) :-)

  39. Hi Becky, back home and lovin it!!! so much to do but I just arrived home Monday night. A long ride to say the least. Cheri' was an angel. Not today though. She just chewed up my new pink heels for Easter. She had to get them out of a bag to get to them. They are lost and beyond repair. sigh. I see her now, hiding from me. She KNOWS she did something bad.

Just saying hello today. I am going to town for a haircut and a visit to the Good Will boutique!!! Do you think I might find another pair of shoes. My new ones were gorgeous PINK leather 'Liz' Sigh!!!

Have a sunshine day Becky. It is beautiful and in the 70's. I hope it lasts.

    Love you, Jeanne
