I woke up this morning with this little chorus playing in my
mind, and it just delighted my heart...
I cast all of my cares upon You...
I lay all of my burdens down at Your feet
And anytime I don't know wha-at to do,
I will cast all of my cares upon You.
{Come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.}
Matthew 11:28
He knows us each by name...
He knows us each by name...
He is THRILLED when we rise
from our bed each morning.
We are the focus of His love
from our bed each morning.
We are the focus of His love
all day long.
Who wouldn't want to live for a God like that?
Do you know the love of this wonderful Savior?
If per chance you don't know this amazing love,

A wonderful devotion, Becky. Sometimes the casting is easy, but for some reason sometimes we seem to want to take those cares back...not a good thing for sure.
ReplyDeleteHope the sun is shining there today :-)

Oh Becky, that is beautiful. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteGreat post for me b/c I have a lot on my mind today. Maybe this gloomier type weather helps in my pondering, but tons of wondering today. I do "cast" them to Him, but do I leave them there?!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Becky! What beautiful thoughts and pictures!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed your post!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
Blessings~

WOW...I needed this today. This is not the first time one of your blogs has reached over the miles I touched my heart. God is really working through you. :)
ReplyDeleteI meant reached over the miles and touched my heart.
ReplyDeleteHey Beck,
ReplyDeleteThanks for this precious reminder of God's Awesome Care!
I love the photos and they truly fit as I was singing the song in my head. I think I first learned it along with the kids when they were in a children's church musical.
Blessings "back-at-ya!"
Love you lots!
Hi Beck,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos to go along with that song. I like that song too! Don't you just love to get up with a song in your mind and on your heart, that is a spirit lifter for sure.
Good to talk with you, sorry I was so drowsy! lol
Been rising a bit to early I think!! lol
cause by afternoon I am ready for a nap. Didn't take one today, but did yesterday.
Isn't it so great to know that God cares so much about our lives and has nothing but good in mind for us!! I love that!!
Have a great evening my sweet friend,
Love ya, Nellie
wow, Becky! Beautiful words and pictures! You are so blessed with your lovely surroundings there!
ReplyDeleteGuess what? We can see our grass now! Yay! We are having a major thaw this week- still lots of piles and snow persists where the sun doesn't hit it, but it is slowly subsiding!
Again, thanks for this wonderful post and for your ministry through your blog- you are a woman after God's own heart!
Love you,
Linda
Thanks Becky! I need to be reminded of this daily as I struggle so much with holding everything in. I'm still not feeling all that good. I've had a couple of migraines and my stomach is just in knots most of the day. I know I shouldn't be like this!!! I need to lay my burdens down and then walk away. Thank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for such great encouragement Aunt Becky!! What a blessing this is to read especially at the end of the day!! Love you tons!
ReplyDeleteWhat a loving God we serve to take upon everyones needs giving us peace and rest!!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that! I don't know what I would do without the Lord! Thank you for your comment on my freesia. I'm so sorry to hear about all the plants and palm tree dying. I guess that happened because of the unusual cold snap that you had:( Take care dear friend! Hugs, Elena
ReplyDeleteThanks for such a sweet reminder of what I'm to do with my cares! I know, but sometimes don't put it into practice. The pictures are beautiful too. I am reading a new book by Elizabeth George.(Breaking the Worry Habit...Forever) It's been such a blessing to me and a reminder of what I'm suppose to do versus WHAT I Usually do! I am to pray and cast!
ReplyDeleteYou light up my life dear friend.
Happy Hump Day!
Much love,
Liesa
What a way to start the day with a song of Jesus in your heart. Thanks for blessing me Becky!
ReplyDeleteholykisses xoxo

Hi Becky! thank you for stopping by my blog yesterday! I think yours is amazing. Any time a blogger brings God into their life and shares it with others is so wonderful to me. I too have such a deep appreciation and love for my Savior. You pics are amazing I so love the mountains and beautiful rays of light coming through the clouds. I will visit often! hugs and smiles. The hats and bag.....ahhh I just love making smiles and seeing children happy! or anyone for that matter!
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, I am trying hard to visit everyone but my day was so interrupted with a trip to the vet for Cheri. Our vet is nearly an hour away. such is life in the mountains. She needed a booster shot and then we wondered around town and that was the day. sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love your lovely post today. Your photos are beautiful. You are a blessing Becky and I can't wait to meet you my dear blogging friend.
See you soon.
Love xoxo, Jeanne

Beautiful pictures and thoughts Ms. Becky! Hard to remeber sometimes that we need to let go of our worries and place them in God's hands. I have so much to be thankful for, and am thankful that today I am worry free!
