Well, here is the big question for today, Sweeties!
Have you ever had a time when you were excited
about something that was coming up, and were
busy with all the preparations, and one by one
things started to go wrong...
AND
your money just kept flying right out of your
checking account?? $100, $200 or more at a
your money just kept flying right out of your
checking account?? $100, $200 or more at a
time?? A veritable FLOCK migrating to someone
elses account???
elses account???
That is what is happening here!!
We have had more expenses recently than I
care to number, and my car, which our daughter
is suppose to be using for an upcoming trip is
ill and $260 later, is still not fixed,
AND
Our washing machine just went caput!!
God is in control...this we know...
And are extremely grateful for!!
~~~
I covet your prayers for the repair of
my car, a great deal on a good washing
machine, new or used, and that the end of
this redistribution of our resources
would soon come!!
Ya'll are the best!!
Love and Hugs,
Becky
Yes, we've encountered that situation more times than I care to remember!
ReplyDeleteI will keep you in my prayers!
All best wishes,
Eileen
Oh Becky, hugs to you first!! I'll be praying for ya gal. My car just left the shop to the tune of $726! I feel your pain. Can I make a suggestion? I would try asking around to your friends, an email blast even if anyone has an extra washer or knows of someone who does. I had an extra one and gave it away to someone who needed it. You just never know. Also, Craigslist and Freecycle are great.
ReplyDeleteHope expenses quit coming your way, until then hugs and prayers going up for you.
Dang, at least your yard looks fantastic!!
Jenn
Becky, I just prayed that the Lord would bless you beyond measure! Believing with you...
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
Oh! Becky, I know that old cliche of when it rains it pours, I will certainly be praying about these needs, We just had some similar circumstances, and I had fretted over them, but God came through in the perfect time. And then I was so ashamed of myself!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to read your last post until today, and I adore your home it is so beautiful and would love to hear the story behind it. We have a story about acquiring our farm too. God is so AWESOME!
Many hugs to you today, I think of you so often, and am so glad we have met.
Hugs,
Sue
Praying Becky...God always provides a way when there seems to be no way.
Hello sweet friend, I'm here praying. Love your new blog look. Write and let me know more details if any that need to be covered.
ReplyDeleteHug & prayers.
If I still had my Garage/gas station/convenience store, I could have had my Service Mgr. or one of my mechanics help you out here, but good advice would be to shop around as well as pray for honest mechanics to help you.
ReplyDeleteYour newspaper might have some washers for sale or calling some big appliance stores and inquiring about dented ones can really be a huge savings!
blessings and hugs,
marcy
love you, too, becky, hang in there! prayers coming at ya!
ReplyDeleteYep, we have been there many times. And God is right there to see us through it and usually bless us and show us how much he cares about cars and washing machines, and especially our hearts and our walk with him.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying that your family will be protected from more breakdowns and that you will be really blessed with amazing things through this.
Love ya, Becky!
Thanks for letting us share in this and pray:)
Hugs,
Linda
Oh I also meant to mention that if you have a Sears outlet store in your area, they have really good prices on new washers that might have a scratch or small dent on them. Also our appliance repair guy often has machines that he has "rebuilt" and made like new again. So you might try someone like that in your area also.
ReplyDeleteBlessings:)
Linda
What IS it about washing machines???
ReplyDeleteREALLY! Mine quit in May!
Praying for you...can identify all too well, at this very moment. Since crunching my car last week, I'm reeling from "Deductible shock!"
"LORD, help us to rise above all of these temporal challenges! They faint in the light of Your Eternal Glory. Help Beck and family to sing past these difficutlies and have a blessed time at reunion. Amen."
Oh wow I am so sorry to hear about all the unexpected expenses! I will be praying for the Lord to provide for your needs and give you some really good deals. Hugs, Elena
ReplyDeleteO precious Becky, I pray for God's divine intervention -- for every need to be met in and by Him and unto His glory.
ReplyDelete"My God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory which is in Christ Jesus".
May His peace and provision rest with you dear one.
I love you.
Oh, I was hoping the car got fixed! Now I wish I was near, Hubby has several used Washing machines! He could fix you right up! I say a prayer for this and your daughter. Hope all is better soon!
ReplyDeleteI can relate to everything going caput at one time or another. Thankfully my husband has gotten us out of more fixes than I can count. That's why we call him MacGyver :-) Wish I could send him over to help you out.
ReplyDeleteI have prayed for you and I look forward to seeing how God worked it all out~
Oh Becky you sweet thing, I am so sorry to hear of your challenges but I do know this and that is that the Lord will get the glory as He provides for your needs. Sending up prayers for you and thank you for blessing me with your kind words and friendship.
ReplyDeleteYour Breakfast of Champions post was just what this gal needed.
Hugs
Becky
Oh how horrible!! I can relate. A little extra here, a little extra here and it all begins to add up to a big amount. We had our A/C in the house serviced last week and it was $500. For service! Well, of course there were tons wrong and things needed to be switched out, etc.
ReplyDeleteHope your car can be fixed and you can find a good washing machine. The laundry must really be piling up!!! If we lived closer, you could come on over and bring your laundry and we'd sit out on the back porch enjoying some iced tea! I'd even help you fold!
Becky, I sure have had this happen from time to time also. It usually comes in 3s for us. I hope things go well for you with your car repairs and everything else. Love the song that seems to be appropriately accompanying this post.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Love, B
Been there, Done that....I think we are still there. Our truck....well, I won't go into it but over $1,000.00 and hopefully it stops there.
ReplyDeleteHope everthing comes together for you and you can put it all behind you.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart...
ReplyDeleteIt does seem to happen this way...all or nothing!
But think of the thousands of people who don't even have a washing machine....or worse yet, a home.
We truly are blessed.
May you get through these struggles quickly
God bless you~
Chasity
I feel what your going through girl.....we just went through that with our suv.... new tires, $500....then brakes,$200 .....then the insurance is due too, $500! LOL! Sounds like the Mastercard commercial...I guess I should say...SUV ready for traveling!
ReplyDeleteIt all was a must to have done....not much to do but leave it all in Gods hands some how some where he will provide!! I am praying for you my dear sweet friend!!
Hugs~T
Dear Becky...with all you do for us honey, the least we can do is send some prayers for you that the Good Lord will help ease your burdens soon..
ReplyDeleteMaybe he will even send you a hummingbird or two...
Love,
Susie
Becky, I'm just now seeing this and the previous and next posts. My blog reader isn't updating with these for some reason. I can well identify with the money flying out--btdt the last three weeks. So thankful in reading the next post that things have worked out.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a weekend full of blessings.
