Warmth of the Season

You all amaze me so!  Thank you so much for
your love, encouragement, prayers, and support!
Your sweet comments always touch my heart!

We all love a fire's glow, and how it warms
us through and through...

And we love candlelight that gives a room warmth,
and makes everything it casts it's glow on look so lovely...

But oh the warmth
of the love of family at Christmas time!

Here is Sam and her family!  We took this photo
out in the woods of north Florida where we stopped
on our way home to tend to the hunting area.

I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have them back here!
We have had lots of time together already, and I am so
looking forward to Christmas with all of our girls on Saturday!

I'll be posting a photo our four girls as soon as I can get it
from Birdy.  It was taken on her I- phone.  Can't wait to show
you all!

Here Emily just had to get up into the Cozy Condo
and do some sweeping!  Too cute!

And coming out...

May will be here before you know it, and little
Miss Em' will become a big sister!

We are all so excited!  Everyone thinks it's a boy!
That would be a first in the Stewart family
and Grandpa will be beside himself if God blesses us
with a little grandy boy!! Of course, he will be
delighted with a sweet, cuddly girl, too!!

God is continually teaching me about the significance of family.

The family is one of only two ordained by God institutions...
the other being the church.

So, from that alone we can know that family is of the utmost
importance to Him!

As our family gathers to celebrate the glory of the birth
of our Lord,

we gather as a bunch of imperfect people, that sometimes
take each other for granted, hurt one another's feelings,
make mistakes we're sorry for, are at different places
in our walks with God, but as a FAMILY...

a family ordained by God, for His purposes, that love
each other through it all, and that hopefully, hopefully...
will make God smile sometimes,
and fulfill at least some of the purposes He has put us here for!

The love and warmth of family...
sometimes
the hardest hurts,
most often
the deepest love,
the greatest blessings.

May you feel the wonderful joy and
warmth of family this Christmas...
and know the everlasting JOY
of being part of the
FAMILY OF GOD.

Merry Christmas to you all!

I praise You, Lord, for my friends, and thank You
for loving us so much that you sent your Son, Jesus,
at just the right time, to save us each from our sin!

Sending love and snuggly hugs!!

Blessings and Hugs, Becky

  16. Hi Becky,
Thank you for coming to visit me via Nancy. Nancy has been so wonderful and I just think she is so sweet. I'm very glad to meet you and I will be emailing you soon. We are at the hospital every day with my mom so I'll try to write as soon as I can. I would really enjoy visiting with you about our Mom's/Alzheimers. I'm sorry you have lost both your parents. Thank you again for reaching out to me. It meant a lot.
    Blessings,

It's your little cutie-patootie! I LOVE her.... I know you remember I used to come to your blog just so I could see this little darlin' sittin' on the beach. That picture was what pure happiness looks like. And, your daughter! A beauty, just like her mom.... :-) I'm so glad she's back, I know that makes a mama happy. Can't wait to see the four of them together.....

Wishing you and yours a glorious Christmas..... What a wonderful celebration it will be.

  18. Hi Beck,
Loved this post, so true every word.
Sam looks great, and I can not believe how much
    Emily has grown. Incredible!!
You need to check your email girlie!!
Sounds like you are having a great time having Sam and her family back around, that is so great!
Hope you all have a Wonderfully delightful Celebration of our Lord's Birthday. We are looking forward to it as well, and it is coming so fast!! lol
I have been working on Christmas cards for the family. Yesterday I spent most of the day and got nothing, I mean nothing accomplished before 5p.m. ....everything that could go wrong did!! lol I was more than a bit frustrated, so I ran to my recliner and kicked back and had a lil talk with my friend, and felt much better after,
and even tried again, I was not in the mood to try again before that!! lol
Anyway, I made great strides after 9p.m. and I am about done. Just have to get the words in 2 and put them together. Yea!!
We went out and did our shopping for brunch and dinner for Christmas day, so we should be done, and can just stay home and finish some baking and wrapping. We are having Megan and Jerry with us for Christmas Morning as well, then Scott and Megan will leave in the late afternoon to go to Megans family, but Dee and Jerry will stay for din din!
Should be a fun fabulous day!!
Sounds like all is well with you. Good!!
Maybe that means you are feeling better too,
    sure hope so.
    Love ya hon
    and Merry Christmas
    and
Hey.......check that email!! lol You might just be surprised!!

  29. Becky, I am sending you the biggest get well hug ever!

I'm so glad you dropped in this evening, and I feel like we've actually had a visit. I just prayed for you, and I hope you can feel the renewal of your body through prayer.

I'm feeling better, and I think I just needed to finally get up out of my sick bed and blog. I'm trying not to overdo, but it sure felt good.

Mr. M. is off with friends where I sent him for supper, and the two of us will have Christmas lunch tomorrow. He looked so handsome tonight. All dressed up in his red sweater vest and grey slacks. Just like Christmas! :-)

No news here. Just tired, but I couldn't let this night slip past without wishing you the happiest of holidays.

May your Christmas be both merry and bright, Becky, just like YOU!

    Hallelujah, our Savior is BORN!

    Love you much, girlfriend...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
