Friday is The Day!!

Friday is the day our Sam and her family will be back in Florida!!

Just in time to celebrate the joy of Christmas with us!!!

YIPPEE!!

My mother's heart is soooo full!
Can't wait to give them all big, huge hugs!!

Emily I'm sure has grown like a weed in the last 6 months!
She sounds so much more grown up on the phone!

What a wonderful Christmas present!

All you grammies out there know what I'm talking about!

Grandchildren add this dimension to your life that brings
unspeakable joy!  And the fact that Sam is also bringing our second
grandy home in the "cooker"  just delights my soul even more!

Next May we will be blessed by his/her arrival!  Great birthday present
for me, huh? Happy Birthday to me!! {smile}

Just had to share my joy with you this morning!
Please pray for safe travel for everyone!!

Have a wonderful day, and know how very much
I appreciate each of you!!

Blessings and Hugs, Becky

  4. Blessings to all....have fun! I don't have the joy of being a grandmother yet...but hoping 2011 brings me one!

  5. I hope you have a wonderful time. I wish my mum was as forthcoming about being a grandma. She loves her grandchildren very much but she can never seem to find time to spend with them. She often compensates her lack of time with a cheque. And it's just not the same. I'm not meaning to sound ungrateful, but...

  6. I don't have any grand-baby's yet...but I have been keeping my great niece everyday for the last year and a half. I guess you could say it's like I am a grandma in training! I know exactly what you mean. Spending time with Gianna is a joy! I enjoyed my children immensely...but this is so different. I'm not raising her...I am just enjoying her!

I know you are very excited about your gals coming home and the precious little one that is on the way. What a great Christmas!

  10. Oh, Beck, I'm rejoicing with you for both the return home and the upcoming arrival. Remember me to Sam, and give her a hug from me.

Also, though, I admit to being a trifle (actually alot) envious, as, like Sam and her family, we want to return home to Florida as well. We are disappointed that we are here for yet one more winter and another holiday without our beloved family.

Would you please ask the Lord to make the way smooth for us.

    Thanks, sweet friend.

    Love you,
    Patti

  11. Dearest Becky,
I am so thrilled for you! I know you have missed your daughter and her family. I'm happy that God has made a way for them to return to you. And yes, what a grand birthday present for you in May...and a nice Mother's day gift as well!

I pray you are having a blessed evening...Happy December! We are cold here in Mississippi! 32 degrees at the moment! brrrr. Feels like Christmas though. That's the good part of it!

    Good night.

    Love,
    Liesa

  22. Hi, Becky
Your name has been chosen in my Advent Giveaway draw. I've put you down for a book on my local area (Bamburgh, Seahouses and Farne Islands) - hope that's okay. Could you please email me with your full day and address as soon as possible so I can get it in the post. Can't promise it for Christmas though.
