So…
Maybe it is time…
To lighten up.
To be a little kinder to yourself.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
They could never be YOU!
Watch your self talk…
Be positive.
No shoulda, coulda, wouldas!
No if onlys or buts!
Embrace the uniqueness of you!
GOD does!
He made you that way! And in His book you’re perfection!
Treat yourself in some little way today
and know that who you are is not defined
by how you look, your mistakes, your finances, etc…
You are each a gift to me!!
Have a joyful day! I’m celebrating YOU!!
Love ya bunches,
Becky

Hi Becky, the 'stuff' is in the mail and should arrive next Tuesday or so. It is full and i hope you can use some of it. It all needs pressing etc.
ReplyDeleteI love your post today and I love you too. Blessings, Jeanne
Hey Becky, I really enjoyed this post and the one before. I have so much doubt sometimes and I have to work so hard on letting things go and trusting God. It is always good to read uplifting words like yours.
ReplyDeleteBecky,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the postitive post. We could all stand to cut a little slack for ourselves. Enjoy your family reunion in the Smokies--you'll be in my "neck of the wood," I only live about an hour and a half from Gatlinburg. Thanks for visiting Buttermilk Cottage.
Best,
Susan
Thank you Becky that is so sweet! You are a blessing!
ReplyDeleteNeeded to hear that today! Thanks for the counsel. Always love visiting here.
ReplyDeletehugs,

There's a blog I follow called "be yourself, everyone else is taken" sounds like wise words, huh? Thought it fit your post today. Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteHi Becky,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post! and so true such a sweet way to start out the week.
Big hugs, Elizabeth
Becky, I must refer you to a book that you will LOVE! I think of you all the time as I am reading through it for the first time and it is about your favorite thing...JOY. It is called One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. She has a blog at http://aholyexperience.com. The book is one long beautiful poem it seems. Her style is unique and her message is divinely inspired.
ReplyDeleteLove you, girly!

Thank you Becky for your positive outlook!!! I tend to be a bit of an Eyore :0)!! I needed this as I just had a visit from a very close relative and she made it fairly clear that she is embarrassed that we are expecting again - she won't tell most of her friends or some of our relatives because our family is big enough!! Hurts - and makes me feels small :0(!!! But your post was a reminder that God made me - and our baby!!! You are a dear and you always cheer me!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Christine
Wonderfully joyful post. Full of happiness and smiles.
ReplyDeleteGod is so good:):)

Hi Miss Beck,
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post, and encouraging as well!
WE do need reminding of how special we are to God!!
I always love some saying I have heard like if God has a refrigerator your pic would be on it, and if God had a wallet your pic would be in it,
such nice reminders.
Hope you are doing well, and hope hope hope we can connect up this week.
Love ya, Nellie
As always my SWEET BECKY....a positive and uplifting post.... I'll try to remember it next time I think I'd better beat myself up a little bit. :-)
ReplyDeleteHow have you been dear one? Lots going on here as usual. I should be getting lots and lots of sewing done, but sadly I'm easily distracted.... Ooooops.
Big hugs to you! I've missed you...
