I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE ACADEMY...
OK, maybe that is a bit over-the-top!!
I thought I would take a moment on this joyous occasion to chat a bit about my blogging experience thus far...
Ya now what?? I am having a blast with this blog!
I never set out to become part of the blogging world...it kind of found me!! Joy of joys!!
Things started out kind of slowly way back in November of 2008, and then gained a little momentum.
As my audience began to grow, I found myself beginning to think ...bigger...
I thought...Maybe so many people will read my blog that I will be a famous blogger...
I thought...Maybe I will be a bloggin' super hero "Super Duper Blogging SAHM" and with a few keystrokes I would solve all of the world's problems!!
And my public would love me, and I'd happily accept one of these
bright, shiny, trophies...and all of the public affection that goes along with it!!
All of a sudden, I had to decide again the "WHY" of this whole blogging adventure for me.
Do I want to be BIG?? Do I really want 500+ readers?
Do I want to advertise on my blog and make money??
What's it gonna be???
I am happy to say that the simple goal of my blog was and is....
to find some down to earth, fun, witty, wise girlfriends, and share some of this crazy roller coaster of a life with them,
and share the love, joy and hope of the Lord in the process!!
That's it.
To have some friends with "HEART",
that I can share from my heart with!!!
AND YA KNOW WHAT??? I HAVE!!!
I don't ever want to get to where I can't take the time to really visit with you and say what I want to say...YOU are the WHY of it all!!!
I treasure all of you!
You each add something wonderful to my days, and I feel so blessed and am humbled that you see fit to peek in at my blog, and leave your sunny thoughts!!
So...YOU get the bright, shiny trophy for being the BESTEST bloggy friends a gal can have!!
Your joy, enthusiasm, encouragement, and inspiration are a true gift!!
