or to count it all JOY!

Well, life is far too short, and God far too good

to throw pity parties or get depressed!!

I choose JOY and living

I am doing much better because you prayed and

God ministered to my heart!  You are wonderful!!

Today I chose joy and the day was so much

BRIGHTER!!

They're Gone

Our oldest daughter, Sam, her hubby, and our

only grandy, Emily, just left here to move to Tennessee.

This is the first one of our 3 older daughters

to move out of state.  The other two still live with us.

Sam gave me these lovely mums for helping her out when

they got in a pinch yesterday and had to clear their house

for the landlord's inspection.

I will miss them so very much.  But we can I-chat, and

will take turns with the 12 hour drive for visits.

Right now I'm feeling at a loss, teary, and my heart,

like these lovely delicate petals,

is fragile.

I covet your prayers for their safe arrival tomorrow,

and for the aching hearts here at home.

Around the Yard!

HAPPY TUESDAY, DEAR ONES!!

I hope you had a delightful weekend!!

We did even though we didn't accomplish

all we had hoped to...it is still there waiting for

us...it will get done little by little this week!!

Upon returning from my morning bike ride, which was truly divine,

 I decided to take a walk around the yard with my camera.

Here are a few of the pretties I found.

First blooms on the Crepe Myrtle. 

Love the sun lighting up the leaves!

A fountain turned bird bath for my adorable winged visitors!

Oh what would the morning be without the bird songs??

This little fig tree loved the winter freezes!

It has more figs on it than ever!!

Yummy figgy goodness to come!!

And ... a little ant traveling the stem.

LOVE this little stepping stone...

Perfectly weathered and wonderful!

Truly God's creation is poetry to my soul!
