God's Cosmic Christmas Tree

This picture amazed me. God must have had so much fun creating the world around us!! We certainly can't even imagine all that is in His mind!! Simply fascinating!!! You can google Nasa Christmas tree and see a larger photo that looks beautiful.

"THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD; AND THE FIRMAMENT SHOWS HIS HANDIWORK." Psalm 19:1

Stellar Snowflake Cluster

Newborn stars, hidden behind thick dust, are revealed in this image of a section of the Christmas Tree Cluster from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The newly revealed infant stars appear as pink and red specks toward the center and appear to have formed in regularly spaced intervals along linear structures in a configuration that resembles the spokes of a wheel or the pattern of a snowflake. Hence, astronomers have nicknamed this the "Snowflake Cluster." Star-forming clouds like this one are dynamic and evolving structures. Since the stars trace the straight line pattern of spokes of a wheel, scientists believe that these are newborn stars, or "protostars." Over time, the natural drifting motions of each star will break this order, and the snowflake design will be no more.
While most of the visible-light stars that give the Christmas Tree Cluster its name and triangular shape do not shine brightly in Spitzer's infrared eyes, all of the stars forming from this dusty cloud are considered part of the cluster.

Recycled!

This box is full of the prettiest recyclable things, isn't it? These are the bows that I have reused for the past few years. Doesn't it just make you feel good when you can do your little part to help preserve God's creation? We don't consider ourselves to be environmentalists, but we definitely try to do our part when it comes to decreasing our carbon footprints. I also have oodles of regular fabric ribbon that I am using more and more on gifts as well. What are some of your ideas?

To Do Today:

**Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
**School with my daughter
**Pay bills (thankful I have the money to do so!!)
**Do 2-3 loads of laundry
**Buy more little white lights!!! (I love how they twinkle)
**Get the Christmas boxes down from the attic (YES!!!)
**Cook an amazing dinner for my hubby because he had to suffer through stroganoff last night. (Not his favorite by a long shot, but it was the ingredients I had on hand after the trip)

**HAVE YOU BEEN SPRINKLING YOUR JOY AROUND??**

GO ON...GO AHEAD...DON'T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO SPRINKLE YOU...SPRINKLE FIRST AND YOU CAN'T HELP BUT GET SPRINKLED BACK!!! IT'S TRUE!!

Cyber hugs for you all, and thank you to Walking on Sunshine and Deanie for becoming followers of my blog!!! That just made my day!!
Blessings, Becky

The Wreaths Are Hung!!!

My homes' very first Christmas dressings are the front door wreaths. I was going to make some new ones this year, but I think these still look great! I hung them this morning and can't wait to get up in the attic to get all the other decorations down, and get the lights up!!

Some of you are probably all done shopping and decorating...I'M JUST GETTING STARTED, AND I'M AS EXCITED AS A LITTLE KID!!! I bought my first two gifts last night, and have tooled around a couple of neighborhoods already to look at Christmas lights. HOW FUN!!! I really love savoring the sights and sounds of the Christmas season so you'll probably see a lot of them on my blog!!

This is a pic I snapped because I saw so much beautiful fall foliage on our trip, and wanted to bring a little home with me. (still verrry happy to return to my palm trees and blue skies!!)

I took this through the windshield while it was misting outside, and I just love how it came out. This is the bridge that crosses the Mississippi River.

Have a joyous week, and spread the JOY by smiling at everyone you meet!!! It really is contagious!! Blessings to you all!!
